With the upcoming release of the penultimate coop experience, Splinter Cell Conviction, you would think no one would even try to challenge them.  Well you would be wrong.  A few weeks later Rockstar hopes to show how to “really” do online coop with Red Dead Redemption.  Allowing for full access to an open world, not tiny maps to play on and the ability to create friend groups called posses that allow for dynamically choosing the gametype you want to play, it simply makes the old gamestyle of a list of gametypes look archaic.

Leaked Mercenaries Sequel Footage!

I had no idea this game was in the works (Pandemic closing and Mercenaries 2′s less-than-stellar critical reception being the main reasons) and yet here it is: game footage from a new Mercenaries title being developed by EALA.

Entitled “Mercs Inc,”  it looks like the game will expand on the multiplayer aspect that was introduced in Mercs 2, this time going beyond 2 player co-op to include a multiplayer deathmatch.  No word yet if the game will also include a single-player or co-op campaign.

Well, what are you waiting for, me to run out of breath?  Watch the vid!
