[Update] Konami has confirmed that X:Men Arcade will release in Fall 2010; that’s like right now!  Keep a watchful eye out for the game to appear on XBLA and PSN.  Konami also confirmed that the game will support 4 players locally and 6 players online.  Thanks to our friends at Game Informer for this news!

I woke up this morning to a pleasant surprise.  The word from the New York Comic-Con is that the classic X-Men Arcade game is making its way to Xbox Live and the Playstation Network!  This sweet breath of nostalgia can be played online with up to 6 players, featuring drop-in, drop-out coop.

There isn’t any word yet on pricing or release date, or whether the game will get a graphical overhaul, but this is still great news for all of us who remember dropping quarters at Chuck E Cheese to take on Magneto.
